The Al-Sadd first team defeated Austrian side Bruck an der Leitha 2-0, in the first friendly match of ongoing 2022-23 preseason training camp in Austria.
It turned out to be a beneficial experience for the Al-Sadd team, who took the lead through Santi Cazorla in the 40th minute, before Muhammad Salem Al-Quraishi added the second goal in the 90th minute.
Al Sadd played in the first half with the following lineup: Jehad Mohammed, Jung Woo-young, Bahaa Al-Laithi, Nayef Hamid, Abdulrahman Rashid, Abdulrahman Al-Nuaimi, Faisal Azadi, Santi Cazorla, Ahmed Al-Saeed, Hassan Ahmed and Baghdad Bounedjah.
In the second half, Youssef Al-Balushi, Abdullah Abdulraouf, Talal Behzad, Muhammad Mannai, Moaz Gad, Abdullah Mahdi, Guilherme Torres, Muaz Al-Wadia, Abdulrahman Al-Dosari, Muhammad Salem Al-Quraishi, Abdullah Al-Yazidi, Andre Ayew and Rodrigo Tabata came on as substitutes.
