The Al-Sadd first team resumed training today, Saturday, following the reopening of the training center again after checking on the health status of the players, as many of them tested positive for the coronavirus recently.
The training center was closed on the sixth of January, with some players continuing their training remotely, while only those who had recovered trained in small groups, in coordination with the technical and medical staff.
Al-Sadd is preparing to face Al-Shamal next Tuesday, in Round 15 of the QNB Stars League, at Thani Bin Jassim Stadium.
The Wolves are ranked second in the league table with 31 points from 11 games, with three postponed games against Al-Wakrah, Qatar and Al-Rayyan yet to be played.
Saturday’s training session witnessed the participation of all the available team players, and the technical staff, led by Javi Gracia, stepped up preparations to equip the team for the upcoming clash against Al-Shamal.
