The Al-Sadd first team squad is set to return to Doha on Saturday after the end of the overseas training camp in Olot, which was held from the 2nd to the 14th of August, as part of the preparations for the new season.
The Wolves underwent intense training during the camp and played friendlies against Spanish sides Figueres and Sabadell, in which the coaching staff selected several young players to add to their experience.
Meanwhile, Al-Sadd midfielder Ali Asad has been called up to the senior Qatar national team squad’s training camp in Austria, while four other players – Mustafa Tarek, Faisal Azadi, Hashim Ali and Yousuf Al-Baloushi) have been named in the Qatar U-23 national team squad.
