The Al-Sadd first team concluded their training today in preparation for the game against Al-Gharafa in the quarter-finals of the Amir Cup 2021, which will be played on Wednesday evening at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium.
Al-Sadd, the defending champions, qualified for the quarterfinal after winning the Round of 16 tie over Muaither by a 7-0 scoreline.
The coaching staff, led by Xavi Hernandez, selected the squad for the match, consisting of 24 players:

The squad announcement saw the return of Akram Afif, after the end of his two-game suspension.
Meanwhile, Al-Sadd midfielder Ali Asad remains unavailable to due to a muscle injury which he suffered during the team’s training session recently.
