Al-Sadd striker Baghdad Bounedjah expressed his happiness after his side’s 4-1 win over Al-Wakrah in Round 8 of the QNB Stars League.
Speaking to the media after the match, Bounedjah said: “Thank God for this victory, we started the first half with full force and managed to score two goals, and in the second half also we kept the ball well. Al-Wakrah scored a goal, but we came back and scored the third and fourth goals.”
The Algerian striker added: “This win will push us to score more points, and our focus from now on will be on the important upcoming game against Al-Gharafa.”
