Meshaal Barsham: We are happy with the win and the three points, it was a tough game

Al-Sadd goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham affirmed that the match against Al-Duhail was not easy, despite the Wolves securing a 3–1 victory in Week 17 of the Doha Bank Stars League.

“We faced a strong opponent with high quality. Al-Duhail is a tough team, but we are happy with the win and with taking the three points. We entered the match with great focus and a clear desire to earn the victory.” ...

Roberto Mancini: Happy to qualify, but not satisfied with the result

Roberto Mancini, Al Sadd’s head coach, expressed his happiness at qualifying for the next round of the AFC Champions League Elite 2025–2026.

Speaking at the press conference after the match, the Al Sadd coach said:
“We are happy to qualify for the next round, even though we were not satisfied with the result of this tough match. But the team qualified despite all the difficulties, especially the ones at the start of this edition.” ... 

AFC Champions League Elite: Al-Sadd lose to Al-Ittihad in final group stage game

Al-Sadd suffered a 4–1 defeat against the Saudi club Al-Ittihad in the match played on Tuesday, 17 February 2026, at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, as part of Round 8 of the West Zone in the AFC Champions League Elite 2025–2026.

Al-Sadd remained on eight points after the loss. Amir Cup 2026: Al-Sadd overcome Al-Markhiya to reach quarterfinals

Al Sadd qualified for the quarterfinals of the Amir Cup after defeating Al Markhiya 2–1 in the Round of 16. The match was played on Saturday, 14 February, at Grand Hamad Stadium in Al Arabi Club.

With this victory, Al Sadd will face Al Shamal in the quarterfinals. The two goals for Al Sadd were scored by Spanish striker Rafa Mujica, first from a 74th minute penalty and then in the 77th minute after being set up by Akram Afif.
