AFC Champions League Elite: Al-Sadd lose 2-1 to Pakhtakor

Al Sadd suffered a 2-1 defeat to Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor in the eighth and final game of the AFC Champions League Elite group stage (West), on Monday, February 17, 2025 at JAR Stadium in Tashkent.

After this result, Al-Sadd ended the group stage with a tally of 12 points.

Brayan Riascos had put Pakhtakor ahead in the 18th minute, before Hassan Al Haydos scored Al Sadd’s equalizer from a penalty kick in the 37th minute. Riascos then added the second goal for Pakhtakor in the 57th minute.
