Al-Sadd head coach Bruno Miguel has emphasised the difficulty of the upcoming clash against Qatar SC, in Round 4 of the Expo Stars League.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, he said: “The upcoming game against Qatar SC is going to be tough because they play differently. Each opponent has its own style of play, and we need to understand these styles. We also have to support our key players, to progress as a team, and score goals. Our main challenge is to keep a clean sheet while trying to score ourselves.”
Bruno added: “It’s true that we’ve had two draws in our recent matches. I believe we played better than our opponents in both of those games. We created opportunities, but unfortunately, we couldn’t score. As I mentioned, our goal is to keep a clean sheet defensively and, at the same time, find ways to score goals.”
Asked about the team’s new signing, the coach replied: “We have a new player, Ilyes Housni, who has joined us to help the team. We welcome him, and we hope he can make a positive impact.”
