In his statement to Al-Sadd’s official website following the match, the club’s vice-president expressed his congratulations, stating, “I congratulate Al-Arabi club on their championship win. They had a commendable season and secured an important title. I would also like to congratulate national coach Younes Ali for his outstanding performance with the Al-Arabi team throughout the season.” ... 

Al-Sadd lose to Al-Arabi in Amir Cup 2023 final

Al-Sadd suffered a 3-0 defeat to Al-Arabi in the final match of the 2023 Amir Cup, which was played on Friday, at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium.

Omar Al-Somah twice for Al-Arabi in the 62nd and 98th minutes, while Hamed Ismail added another goal in the 90th minute.

Al-Sadd conclude preparations for Amir Cup final

The Al-Sadd first team held their final training session on Thursday at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, ahead of facing Al-Arabi in the final of the 2023 Amir Cup.

The training session was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa, the club’s president, who was present to offer his support to the coaching staff and players and to boost their morale ahead of the crucial encounter with Al-Arabi. ...

QNB Stars League: Al-Sadd end campaign with 1-2 defeat to Al-Arabi

Al-Sadd suffered a 1-2 loss against Al-Arabi in the final match of the QNB Stars League for the 2022-2023 season, which took place on Monday, at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

With this loss, Al-Sadd remained at 44 points in third place. Al-Sadd’s goal was scored by Baghdad Bounedjah in the 93rd minute, while Al-Arabi’s goals were scored by Abdullah Maarafi in the second minute and Omar Al-Somah in the 55th minute. ...
