QNB Stars League: Al-Sadd defeat Al-Sailiya 4-0

The Al-Sadd first team dominated their match against Al-Sailiya in Round 16 of the 2022-23 QNB Stars League season, winning 4-0 at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Friday.

Al-Sadd head coach Juanma Lillo remarked that his side must approach the upcoming game against Al-Sailiya in the QNB Stars League, with caution, while they aim to register another victory.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Juanma said: “Each team has its unique strengths and weaknesses, and although Al Sailiya is currently at the bottom of the table, we must pay close attention to their values and approach the game with caution. Al-Sadd’s first team regained its winning form with a 2-0 victory against Qatar SC in the rescheduled match from Round 8 of the QNB Stars League at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Saturday.

The win elevated Al-Sadd to third place in the league with 25 points from 14 games. Hassan Al-Haydos (45+4′) and Akram Afif (52′) scored the goals for Al-Sadd. Qatar SC players Omar Al-Emadi and Badr Banoun were sent off in the 50th and 65th minutes, respectively. ...
