Al-Sadd’s Spanish player Cristo Gonzalez, confirmed the team’s readiness for the upcoming match against Al Nassr in the sixth round of the AFC Champions League Elite.

During the press conference, Cristo said: “We are ready for the match against Al Nassr. They are a big and distinguished team in Asia, and we have been able to prepare well during the past week for this tough challenge.” ... 

Felix Sanchez, the head coach of Al Sadd, emphasized the intensity and difficulty of the upcoming match against Al Nassr in the sixth round of the AFC Champions League Elite.

Speaking during the pre-match press conference, Felix said: “We have a tough and challenging match ahead of us against Al Nassr. We will face a big team that has achieved great results in the competition.” ... 

The Al Sadd delegation will depart on Sunday morning, December 1st, to Saudi Arabia in preparation for their AFC Champions League Elite match against Al Nassr. The match will take place on Monday evening at Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh.

Brazilian player Paulo Otavio expressed his happiness with the team’s strong performance during the AFC Champions League Elite match against Al Hilal, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

In his post-match comments, Otavio said: “The match was very intense, and we were able to deliver a solid performance both defensively and offensively. Earning a point is better than nothing in such a tough match.” ...

Al Sadd secured a 1-1 draw against Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal in the fifth round of the AFC Champions League Elite stage (West Group). The match was played on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Doha.

With this result, Al Sadd raised their points tally to nine. Al-Hilal took an early lead through Ali Al-Bulaihi in the 10th minute, but Paulo Otávio equalized for Al Sadd in the 71st minute. ... 

Al-Sadd defender Khoukhi Boualem confirmed the team’s readiness for the upcoming match against Al Hilal in the fifth round of the AFC Champions League Elite stage.

Speaking at the press conference, Khoukhi said: “We are preparing well for the match and we understand its importance. We are ready for it, and I hope that Al Sadd fans will be there to support us.” ...

Al-Sadd striker Rafa Mujica has successfully undergone surgery in the British capital, London, due to a hip injury.

Mujica is expected to begin his recovery process in the coming days under the supervision of the first team’s medical staff.
