Al-Sadd’s Brazilian midfielder Guilherme Torres has emphasised the importance of changing the team’s current situation and finishing the season on a good note.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference before the QNB Stars League Round 18 game against Al-Wakrah, Guilherme said: “It will be a very difficult match against a well-organised team. The result in our last match was negative, but we are working hard this week so that we can get a good result from this match and prepare for the Qatar Cup final, which is a very important match. We need to change this situation and show what we are capable of.”
He added: “The season is coming to an end and unfortunately, we had some negative results. Despite this, we will strive to finish the season on a positive note by winning as many matches as possible.”
“We have a clear goal and we have a strong group of players who will work hard to achieve it. I am confident that we will do our best to overcome the current situation we are going through.”
