Hassan Al-Haydos, captain of Al Sadd, expressed his immense happiness over the team’s victory against Shabab Al Ahli and their crowning as champions of the Qatar–UAE Super Shield.
Al-Haydos said in a press statement following the trophy ceremony: “Praise be to God for this victory and for winning the Qatar–UAE Super Shield. The match was intense and exciting from both sides. Shabab Al Ahli played at a high level and forced us to fight until the very last moment.”
He added: “I believe that team spirit and focus were the key to winning, especially after coming back in the score and securing the match with a 3–2 victory. This title is the result of collective effort, and we dedicate it to the Al Sadd fans who have always supported us. We hope it will serve as a strong motivation for us in upcoming challenges.”
