Al-Sadd captain Hassan Al-Haydos spoke of the importance of the Wolves’ 3-1 victory over Al-Gharafa in Round 14 of the QNB Stars League, and emphasised his side’s desire to compete for the title.
Speaking after the game, Al-Haydos said: “I’m happy with the victory, which came against a great team like Al-Gharafa, in an intense match for both sides, but we succeeded in turning matters in our favour, especially in the second half.”
He added: “We got three important points, and this shows the strong desire of the team to compete hard for the championship. Since the players returned from the national team, we have been recording victories, and the team is improving. Al-Sadd always has its eye on the top.”
