The Al-Sadd first team went through a training session on Wednesday, in preparation for the match against Al-Khor in the fourth round of the QNB Stars League. The match will kick off at 7:45 PM on Saturday evening at Al-Khor Club stadium.
Wednesday’s training session saw the return of the team’s international players after the end of their national team commitments. The team will go into the game against Al-Khor in high spirits, having started the league campaign on a great note.
Al-Sadd are currently ranked second in the league table, with 6 points from 2 wins in 2 games. The Round 3 game against Al-Duhail was postponed, and will be played on the 21st of October.
The coaching staff, led by Xavi Hernandez, was keen on using Wednesday’s session to work on tactical aspects, with a focus on attacking moves.
Those players who had appeared in yesterday’s game against Al Sailiya in the Ooredoo Cup underwent light recovery training, with all members of the team scheduled to take a break from training on Thursday.
