Al Sadd coach Javi Gracia praised his team’s performance after the two-goal victory over Al Sailiya in Round 12 of the QNB Stars League.
In his comments after the match, Gracia said: “It was a difficult match from the beginning. We needed extra work in order to win and decide the match in our favour.”
The Al-Sadd coach continued: We had to work hard in the first half, which we did not control enough. In the second half, we were much better and created a lot of chances, and we were able to make some changes with the arrival of Baghdad and Ali Asad, which helped to increase the effectiveness of the team, especially in the offensive side.”
Gracia concluded by saying: “In general, we played a good match and got the three points and came out with a clean sheet. With the passage of time, we will improve our level more and more due to the wonderful displays by the players.”
