Javier Mascherano, the former Argentine international midfielder who had starred for Liverpool and Barcelona, visited the Al-Sadd first team squad ahead of their training session on Monday.
Mascherano was in Doha to attend the FIFA Club World Cup, and is one of the ambassadors of FIFA for the tournament, which is being hosted by Qatar between the 4th and 11th of February.
Al-Sadd head coach Xavi Hernandez welcomed Mascherano, one of his former teammates at Barcelona, in the presence of the players and staff.
