Al-Sadd head coach Juanma Lillo remarked that his side must approach the upcoming game against Al-Sailiya in the QNB Stars League, with caution, while they aim to register another victory.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Juanma said: “Each team has its unique strengths and weaknesses, and although Al Sailiya is currently at the bottom of the table, we must pay close attention to their values and approach the game with caution. It will be as difficult as any other match.”
Asked about his team’s ability to defeat Al-Sailiya, the coach said: “Our team has demonstrated its capacity, and aside from a recent unexpected loss against Al Ahli, we have been on a winning streak and have also won in the Cup. Therefore, we believe that defeating Al Sailiya is well within our capabilities.”
Moroccan forward Ayoub El-Kaabi joined the team this week, and the coach had this to say about him: “We always welcome anyone who can help and collaborate with the team. It’s better to say more about the new player once we have gotten to know each other while working together.”
He added: “As of now, since our new signing comes from a league with a good level of competition, such as the Turkish league, we are optimistic that he will be able to contribute to our team.”
