Khoukhi Boualem: Getting out with a tie point is a good thing
Al-Sadd defender Khoukhi Boualem said that getting a point against Nasaf is “better” than nothing, after a 1-1 draw with the Uzbek side in their opening AFC Champions League 2022 game.
Speaking after the match, Boualem said: “We pressed the opponent from the beginning of the match, but the sending-off contributed greatly to us falling back.”
The Al-Sadd defender added: “Getting a point is better than losing all the points. We played with nine players against a complete team and managed to hold out until the end of the match.”
“We must focus on the next match against Al-Faisaly, which will certainly be more difficult.”
