Al-Sadd coach Roberto Mancini expressed his happiness over winning the Qatari–UAE Super Shield following the 3-2 victory over Shabab Al Ahli.
Mancini said in statements to Al Sadd’s official website after the match: “I am extremely happy for the team, the players, and the fans who came and supported us strongly. We played an outstanding match and managed to crown our efforts throughout the game with this great victory.”
The Al Sadd coach added: “I am very happy with my first title with the team, and our goal is to continue working to win more trophies.”
The Italian coach also emphasized that the team must approach the rest of the season’s competitions with the same intensity they showed today in order to compete for all titles.
