Al-Sadd goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham expressed dissatisfaction with his side’s performance following their 1-2 loss to Al Shamal in the opening round of the Ooredoo Stars League, noting that Al Sadd did not play at their usual level, which led to an unsatisfactory result.
Speaking to the media after the game, Meshaal Barsham added, “Luck was not on our side in this match, as many opportunities that could have turned the game in our favor were missed.” He emphasized that the team is still at the beginning of the season, giving the players a chance to learn from their mistakes and improve their performance in upcoming matches.
He concluded, “We must stay focused and work hard to achieve the team’s goals this season.”
