Al-Sadd’s Mohamed Waad stated that his team aiming to finish first in Group D of the 2020 AFC Champions League, adding that it was the toughest in the competition.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of the final group game with Sepahan, Mohammed said: “Our group was the most difficult in the competition. We hope to finish in first place in the group.”
“As you know, Xavi is a former player. He is used to being a winner, and he wants us to be the same.”
The youngster added: “I thank the coach for his confidence in me. I will strive to use this opportunity, to give my best and help the team in this difficult tournament.”
