Al-Sadd drew 4-4 with Al-Sailiya in their Group A Third Round clash of the 2020-21 Ooredoo Cup, which was played at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium on Tuesday.
The result means that Al-Sadd earn their first point of the competition after two games, with the postponed Round 1 game against Al-Duhail yet to be played.
Rami Suhail put Al-Sadd ahead in the 12th minute, before Nam Tae-hee doubled the lead with a 19th minute penalty.
After the halftime break, Al-Sadd went further ahead with Yousuf Abdurisag scoring the third goal in the 47th minute. Rodrigo Tabata then made it 4-0 in the 53rd minute.
However, Al-Sailiya then started a comeback, going on to score four times by the 78th minute, courtesy of a Tiago Bezerra hat-trick (57′, 74′, 78′) and a goal from Mohanad Ali (72′).
