Al-Sadd defender Pedro Miguel shared his thoughts on his side’s upcoming game against Qatar SC in Round 11 of the QNB Stars League.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Pedro said: “We have a difficult game coming up against Qatar SC, because they are in a good moment, and they have a good team and a good coach. “
“Everybody knows that it will be a difficult game against Qatar, and so it’s important that we go to the game focused 100% to get the three points.”
“Qatar won their last three games and are in good form. Everybody also knows that we are in good form and we won the last six games, so it will be an amazing and difficult game.”
He added: “We will have to play like we did in the last few games and like a family to get the three points and continue to fight for the league.”
Asked about Akram Afif’s absence, Pedro said: “Everybody knows about Akram. It’s a difficult situation but we have to be strong. He is an important player for us but we have an amazing squad.”
“So it is important for every player to be ready for this game and to get the three points for Akram Afif because he deserves it.”
Finally, he added: “Thanks to the fans for coming to support us in the last games, and I hope they continue because together, we are stronger.”
