His Excellency Hassan bin Hamza Hashim, Qatar’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, visited Al Sadd’s delegation on Sunday morning at the team’s hotel (Hyatt Regency) ahead of their AFC Champions League Elite Matchday 8 fixture against Pakhtakor on Monday.
Al Sadd’s sporting director, Mohammed Ghulam Al Balushi, along with several players, welcomed the ambassador upon his arrival at the hotel.
During his visit, Ambassador Hassan bin Hamza Hashim greeted the players and coaching staff and checked on all logistical arrangements for the team’s stay. He assured them that the Qatari embassy is providing full support to the delegation.
As a token of appreciation, Al Sadd’s management presented the ambassador with a club jersey and commemorative shield, followed by a group photo session.
