Al-Sadd coach Sergio Alegre spoke about the difficulty of his side’s upcoming Doha Bank Stars League game against Al-Rayyan, in Round 9 of the competition.
Addressing the media at the pre-match press conference, Alegre said: “Obviously the game against Al-Rayyan will be very equal. They are coming from the last game they won against Al-Wakrah, so they will come in a good moment. But we are working and doing our best to get the three points and try to go up in the table.”
He added: “We realise that it’s not a good moment for the team, for the club. But the players are really motivated, they are working in the best way.”
“They know how important this game is for everyone in the club, especially the fans. We want to give a very big game for them and try to continue in this way.”
