Following the title celebration, Sheikh Khalifa bin Khalid Al Thani, member of Al Sadd’s Executive Committee, congratulated the players, management, and fans on winning the club’s 18th league title.
“The competition this season was incredibly strong, and although the team faced many challenges, we ultimately reached our target and were crowned champions,” he said.
Addressing the pressure the team faced, he added: “We’re used to pressure and overcoming difficulties. Today is for celebration, but from tomorrow, we turn the page and begin preparations anew.”
Looking ahead, he emphasised: “We have more tournaments coming—Qatar Cup, Amir Cup, and most importantly, the AFC Champions League Elite. We promise our fans continued dedication and hard work, and we hope this league title gives us the momentum to achieve even more.”
