Reserve League: Al-Sadd draw 1-1 with Al-Rayyan

The Al-Sadd reserve team had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Al-Rayyan, in the Reserve League Round 5 game that was played on Sunday at the Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium.

With this result, Al-Sadd increased their tally to five points after a victory, two draws and two losses. Talal Ateeq had managed to score Al-Sadd’s goal in the 26th minute, before Ahmed Hisham Al-Rawi scored the equaliser for Al-Rayyan in the 54th minute. ... 

Al-Sadd resume training ahead of Al-Shamal clash

The Al-Sadd first team resumed training today, Saturday, following the reopening of the training center again after checking on the health status of the players, as many of them tested positive for the coronavirus recently.

The training center was closed on the sixth of January, with some players continuing their training remotely, while only those who had recovered trained in small groups, in coordination with the technical and medical staff. ... 

Al Sadd first team set for return to training on Saturday

Al-Sadd announces the opening of the training centre for the first team on Saturday, January 15th, after checking on the health and well-being of the players, following an outbreak of Covid-19 which saw several players test positive.

The training centre was temporarily closed last Thursday, January 6th, with some players continuing their training remotely and others training individually, or in small groups for those who had recovered, in coordination with the technical and medical staff. ...

Al Sadd SC announces the continued suspension of the football first team’s training and the closure of the club’s training center, as many players are yet to recover after testing positive for Covid-19.

Training was suspended last Thursday, the sixth of January, and will remain so until further notice, with some players to continue their training remotely, while others train individually or in small groups for recovery only, in coordination with the technical and medical staff. ... 

Al-Sadd x Qatar SC game postponed

The Competitions Committee of the Qatar Football Association decided to postpone Al-Sadd’s match against Qatar SC in the Round 13 of the QNB Stars League 2021-22, which was scheduled to be held on Friday evening, January 7, 2022 at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium. The decision was made after Al Sadd requested a postponement due to a number of players testing positive for Covid-19, and therefore the unavailability of sufficient players to play the match. ...

Al-Sadd defender Tarek Salman spoke about the importance of winning the upcoming QNB Stars League Round 13 match against Qatar SC.

Speaking during the press conference, Tarek said: “A difficult match awaits us against Qatar Club, and this is what also happened in the first phase, where it was a very difficult match too. QNB Stars League: Akram’s brace helps Al-Sadd overcome Al-Sailiya

Al-Sadd defeated Al-Sailiya 2-0 in the QNB Stars League Round 12 game that was played at the Suhaim bin Hamad Stadium on Monday.
