Al-Sadd defender Musaab Khidir expressed his happiness after his side’s 3-0 victory over Al-Ahli team in Round 16 of the QNB Stars League.

Speaking after the match, Musaab said: “It was a difficult game against Al-Ahli, but the team managed to collect the three points and strengthen the lead in the league.” ... 

Al-Sadd defeated Al-Ahli 3-0 in their QNB Stars League Round 16 game which was played at the Jassim bin Hamad Stadium on Friday.

This result means that the Wolves maintain their lead at the top of the QNB Stars League table with 44 points from 16 games. Baghdad Bounedjah (23′) and Khoukhi Boualem (26′) gave Al-Sadd a two-goal lead at halftime, while substitute Tarek Salman scored the third (88’) to conclude the scoring. ...

The two Brazilians were in Doha on the occasion of the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2020, as FIFA ambassadors for the tournament, which was held in Qatar from 4-11 February. ... 

Javier Mascherano, the former Argentine international midfielder who had starred for Liverpool and Barcelona, visited the Al-Sadd first team squad ahead of their training session on Monday.

Mascherano was in Doha to attend the FIFA Club World Cup, and is one of the ambassadors of FIFA for the tournament, which is being hosted by Qatar between the 4th and 11th of February. ...
