Al-Sadd’s Tarek Salman described the opening match against Emirati side Sharjah in the AFC Champions League as strong and challenging.
During the press conference, the player stated, “The opening match is always tough, and we aim to give our best performance. Sharjah is a strong team that has achieved two domestic titles. We are excited about the Asian tournament returning to Al-Sadd’s stadium for the first time since 2020.”
He continued, “Opening matches are always difficult, and we must avoid mistakes and deliver a good performance to secure the first three points at our home ground. We are very enthusiastic and aware of the significance of these matches. We hope it will be a good start for us.”
