Al-Sadd defedner Tarek Salman described the upcoming game against Qatar as important in the team’s march to retain the QNB Stars League title.
Speaking during the pre-match press conference, Tarek said: “It is an important match against an improved team that has developed a lot in the last three rounds, and we are very excited to play and win this game.”
The Qatar international added: “The match is very important for us, and winning it will bring us a great deal closer to winning the title, and we will have only the Al-Ahl match then to officially decide the title.”
Tarek pointed out that the Al-Sadd squad has more than 23 excellent players, and said: “The coach can provide the opportunity for most of the players with the rotation process during a tight run of games, and this helps us to keep winning.”
He concluded by saying: “I hope all the fans of Al-Sadd will support the team in the next match and then the next. That will be a greater motivation for us to achieve victories.”
