Al-Sadd coach Wesam Rizk expressed his happiness with the crucial 3-1 victory against Al-Duhail in the rescheduled match from the ninth week of the Expo Stars League.
Speaking after the match, Wesam stated, “Thank God for the win, and commiserations to Al-Duhail. We secured three crucial points for us. We are evolving from one game to another, and hopefully, we will continue at the same level in the upcoming matches.”
He added in his statements to Al-Sadd’s official website, “The match was not easy. In the second half, we were the better team and controlled the course of the game. We managed to score three goals after trailing in the first half, but we missed several opportunities that could have increased the score.”
He continued, “I thank the players for their performance and the fighting spirit they showed in the match.”
The coach of Al-Sadd extended his gratitude to the fans for their support during the game, saying, “I thank the fans for supporting the team, and for the beautiful image they displayed today. We look forward to more support from them in the upcoming matches.”
