Al-Sadd head coach Xavi Hernandez and forward Baghdad Bounedjah received their awards from the QNB Stars League after being chosen as the Best Coach and Best Player for the month of January 2021.
During this period, Al-Sadd played 4 games and won all of them, scoring 23 goals and conceding just once.
Bounedjah was chosen by the QSL as the Best Player after scoring 11 goals in these games, in addition to contributing 3 assists.
This is the second time that Xavi has won the Best Coach award during the 2020-21 season, after earlier being recognised for September-October.
