Al-Sadd coach Xavi Hernandez expressed his happiness after the 3-1 win over Umm Salal in Round 7 of the QNB Stars League.
Speaking after the match, Xavi said: “We played a great match against an organised team. Yes, we suffered at the beginning, but we managed to come back and finished the first half by scoring two goals.”
The coach added: “We continued to work in the second half until we managed to add the third goal. We played one of our best matches this season.”
Xavi concluded by saying: “I am happy with the victory and the performance of all the players. We have reached 21 points from 7 victories. We have achieved the perfect mark and we will look to keep working, to get more wins.”
