Al Sadd defender Ahmed Suhail expressed his happiness following the team’s 5-2 win over Al-Khor in Week 10 of the Ooredoo Stars League.
In his post-match remarks, Suhail emphasized the importance of the result ahead of their anticipated clash against Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal in the AFC Champions League Elite stage.
“Thank God for the win and the three points. This victory is very important for the team at this time, especially before facing Al-Hilal,” Suhail said.
He added, “The start of the game wasn’t ideal as we conceded two early goals, but we managed to come back and secure the win thanks to a strong collective performance in the second half.”
Suhail continued, “What matters most is how matches end. At Al Sadd, we focus on ourselves rather than the opponent. The team must remain focused on its own performance and playing style. We respect all teams, but the key is to be at our best and achieve victory.”
