Al-Sadd captain Hassan Al-Haydos expressed his great happiness following the team’s 4–1 victory over Al-Duhail and qualification to the 2026 Amir Cup final, stressing that the team achieved its objective in a difficult match.
Speaking after the game, Al-Haydos said: “I’m happy with the victory and reaching this prestigious final. The match was not easy, but we managed to deliver a strong performance and secure a deserved win.”
He added: “The Amir Cup is the most valuable cup competition and a tournament that is very special to us. We always aim to reach the final and compete for the title.”
He concluded: “I’m happy to score the team’s third goal in the match, and I hope we continue with the same spirit in the final against Al-Gharafa in order to win the title.”
