Al-Sadd goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham confirmed that the match against Al Ahli was not easy, in which the Wolves secured a 3–1 victory in Week 11 of the Doha Bank Stars League for the 2026–2027 season.
Speaking after the match, Barsham said: “We faced a strong opponent with great quality. Al Ahli is a tough team, but we are happy to get the win and take all three points. We entered the match with high focus and a clear desire to achieve victory.”
Barsham added that the current phase requires doubled focus, explaining that the team will not repeat the mistakes of last season and its sub-par start, promising to strive to give their best right from the beginning.
Addressing the Al Sadd supporters, Barsham urged them to keep up their support and backing, emphasizing that the Al Sadd fans always deserve the best.
