Razvan: We are ready for the challenge against Al-Gharafa

Al-Sadd head coach Razvan Lucescu emphasized that the team is preparing for a tough and intense clash against Al Gharafa in Week 3 of the Doha Bank Stars League.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Lucescu explained: “We are playing another match just three days after our Qatar Cup semifinal tie, but the team and the players are ready to take on the challenge to secure a victory.”
The Romanian coach added that Al Sadd’s goal at this stage is clear—winning to keep momentum going—noting that the upcoming fixture will be completely different from their recent Qatar Cup encounter with Al Gharafa.
Lucescu also called on the Al Sadd supporters to back the team in this crucial match, stressing that their presence and support will play a major role in motivating the players on the pitch.
For his part, team captain Hassan Al-Haydos acknowledged the difficulty of the upcoming match against Al Gharafa, while assuring that the squad is fully prepared for the challenge.
Al-Haydos said: “We enter the match with high ambitions despite the brief recovery window. We are ready to face Al Gharafa, even though we had little time to recover after playing them recently. While that presents a physical challenge, we are prepared to give our absolute best.”
