Al-Sadd defender Hussam Kamal described his side’s 7-0 win over Muaither as a great boost to continue giving their best in the competition.
Speaking after the game, Hussam said: “We got a big win after dominating the game from the start. Qualifying for the quarterfinals will be a boost for us to continue giving our best in this competition.”
He added: “The coach gave the substitute players an opportunity to play today and everyone gave their best and we succeeded in winning and keeping a clean sheet.”
