The Al-Sadd first team began preparations for the upcoming Matchday 3 game against Jordan’s Al-Wehdat in Group D of the AFC Champions League 2021. The game is set to be played on Tuesday at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.
The Wolves had earlier lost 3-1 to Al-Nassr on Matchday 2.
The first team squad underwent pre-match Covid-19 tests on Sunday afternoon, at the club’s residence at the Burj Rafal.
Later, the players who had appeared in the last game went through recovery training at the team hotel, while the other players worked on physical and movement training.
Meanwhile, the pre-match press conference has been scheduled for Monday.
