Al-Sadd’s first team concluded their preparations for facing Al-Sailiya in the 2022-23 Ooredoo Cup Group A first round game, which will be played on Monday evening at Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium.
The Wolves enters the match missing several players, most notably the Qatari internationals who are away with the national team, in addition to the Jung Woo-young and Andre Ayew who have been called up to represent their countries in the current international break.
Brazilian midfielder Guillerme Torres is also absent after an ankle surgery, which will result in a recuperation period of 6 to 8 weeks.
Al-Sadd have been placed in Group A in this edition of the Ooredoo Cup, alongside Qatar SC, Al-Sailiya, Umm Salal, Al-Wakrah, and Al-Ahli.
