Al-Sadd head coach Juanma stressed the importance of his side’s 3-1 victory over Al-Shamal in Round 17 of the QNB Stars League.
In his statements after the match, Juanma said: “I am very satisfied with the team’s performance against Al Shamal, given the timing of the match and what happened in the last game against Al-Duhail. I am very satisfied with the team and what we achieved today in winning by three goals.”
The Al-Sadd coach continued: “In the first half, we ended trailing by a goal, but we had played well and dominated the match and got many chances. In the second half, we were able to translate these opportunities into goals because of our confidence and belief in ourselves. We returned to the match with full force and achieved this victory, which was well-deserved.”
Regarding the upcoming clash with Al-Duhail in the Ooredoo Cup semi-finals, the coach said: “We will continue to work in preparation for facing Al-Duhail in the Ooredoo Cup semi-finals. Focus and hard work will give us the victory we need to reach the final.”
