Meanwhile, Akram Afif makes a return to the squad after missing the match against Al-Faisaly in the AFC Champions League due to suspension.

During the final training session, the coaching staff focused on reducing the training load and engaging in some light skill exercises, with variations between individual and group activities. After the training, the players entered a closed camp at Al-Messila Hotel, where they will stay overnight before heading to the match venue.
Al-Sadd enters the match in the second position in the standings with 13 points, with a postponed match from the sixth week against Al-Arabi yet to be played.
