Al Sadd Club has announced that three of its players have been called up to the Qatar national under-23 football team. The team is preparing for the upcoming AFC U-23 Asian Cup, which will be hosted by Qatar from April 15 to May 3, 2024. The tournament serves as a qualifier for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
The three players called up from Al Sadd are:
- Moustafa Tarek Meshaal
- Abdullah Al Yazidi
- Yousef Al Balushi
The players will miss Al Sadd’s upcoming matches during their time with the national team.
