Al-Sadd clinch 2-0 derby victory over Al-Arabi

Al-Sadd recorded their second consecutive win in the QNB Stars League, defeating Al-Arabi 2-0 in the Round 11 game that was played at Grand Hamad Stadium on Monday.

After a goalless first half, Santi Cazorla put Al-Sadd ahead from the penalty spot in the 66th minute. Hassan Al-Haydos then made it 2-0 in the 72nd minute with a shot that went in off a deflection.

The result means that Al-Sadd move to fifth place in the league table with a tally of 13 points from 9 games.
