On Wednesday, the Al-Sadd first team wrapped up their preparations for their match against Al-Duhail in the 2023 Qatar Cup final, scheduled to kick off at 10 PM on Thursday at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.
The training session was attended by Engineer Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Vice President of Al-Sadd Club, Muhammad Ghanem Al-Ali, Head of Football, Turki Al-Ali, CEO of the Club, and Muhammad Ghulam Al-Balushi, Sporting Director, along with the administrative staff of the first team.
Following the training session, head coach Juanma Lillo announced the 22-man squad for the match, including Saad Al-Dosari, Jehad Muhammad, Meshaal Barshim, Ahmed Sayyar, Rodrigo Tabata, Ali Asad, Hassan Al-Haydos, Abdullah Al-Yazidi, Khoukhi Boualem, Ayoub El-Kaabi, Guilherme Torres, Abdulrahman Rashid, Hashim Ali, Bahaa Al-Laithi, Ahmed Al-Saeed, Mahdi Salem, Moaz Al-Wadiya, Akram Afif, Abdulrahman Bakri, Musaab Khidir, Baghdad Bounedjah, and Santi Cazorla.
Pedro Miguel was left out of the list due to lack of readiness, Jung Woo-young was ruled out due to injury, and Tarek Salman is also unavailable after being sent off in the semi-finals against Al-Arabi.
