Al Sadd were officially crowned champions of the 2024–2025 Ooredoo Stars League, securing the title for the 18th time in the club’s history following a commanding 5–0 victory over Al Ahli on Friday, 18 April 2025, at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, in the 22nd and final round of the competition.
His Excellency Mr. Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain, President of the Qatar Football Association and Chairman of the Qatar Stars League, along with Mr. Hani Taleb Ballan, CEO of the Qatar Stars League, crowned Al Sadd as league champions. The ceremony was also attended by His Excellency Engineer Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Vice President of Al Sadd SC, and His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Khalid Al Thani, Member of the Club’s Advisory Council.
The goals for Al Sadd came from Akram Afif in the 13th minute, Moustafa Tarek in the 44th, Paulo Otávio in the 45+2nd, Rafa Mújica in the 67th, and Claudinho in the 81st. With this victory, Al Sadd finished the season on top of the standings with 52 points.
