Al Sadd’s first team defeated Al-Arabi 4-1 in the friendly match that was played on Monday, as part of the preparations for the start of the 2022-23 QNB Stars League season.
Guilherme Torres, Andre Ayew, Baghdad Bounedjah and Rodrigo Tabata scored the goals for Al-Sadd, while Al-Arabi’s lone goal came from Aaron Boupendza’s penalty kick. The first half had ended with Al-Sadd leading 2-1.
Al-Sadd started the game with a lineup consisting of Jehad Mohammed, Bahaa Al-Laithi, Abdulrahman Al-Nuaimi, Mohammed Almanai, Santi Cazorla, Rodrigo Tabata, Faisal Azadi, Guilherme Torres, Baghdad Bounedjah, Andre Ayew, Ahmed Al-Saeed, Moaz Gad, Abdullah Al-Yazidi came on as substitutes in the second half.
