Al Sadd claimed a 5–1 victory over Al Rayyan in the ninth round of the Doha Bank Stars League for the 2025–2026 season. The match took place on Thursday, October 30, at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium in Al Sadd Club.
With this win, Al Sadd raised their tally to 11 points. The goals for Al Sadd were scored by Roberto Firmino in the 12th minute, Boualem Khoukhi in the 45+10th minute, Akram Afif in the 52nd minute, and Rafa Mujica in the 74th minute.
For Al Rayyan, Roger Guedes scored from the penalty spot in the 37th minute. The match also saw two Al Rayyan players sent off — Gregory da Silva in the 19th minute and Abdulaziz Hatem in the 90th minute.
