Al Sadd were crowned champions of the third edition of the Qatar–UAE Super Shield after defeating UAE side Shabab Al Ahli 3–2 in the match that was played at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, Al Sadd Club, on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
Shabab Al Ahli opened the scoring through Yuri César in the 30th minute, before Roberto Firmino equalised for Al Sadd from the penalty spot in the 55th minute. Akram Afif then put Al Sadd ahead in the 74th minute, but Mohammed Juma brought Shabab Al Ahli level again in the 78th minute. Deep into stoppage time, Firmino struck once more (90+6′) to seal the victory for Al Sadd.
